Christ Church has supported our handbell ensemble for many years, going back at least 25 years. When the church had a fund drive to purchase the bells and equipment, many donors came on board with funds to “buy a bell.” Presently, we have a set of five octaves of handbells and handchimes, with three very low bass chimes. The ensemble has had four directors through the years, with John Neve, the current director, starting in 2008. Our mission is to provide music for worship that is meaningful and brings an added dimension to the worship experience.
